FYE – For Your Event organized and planned an amazing and glamorous Indian wedding in Athens on April 17. Our lovely couple from India living between Lagos and London, S&A chose Athens as their wedding destination so they and their 400 guests coming from all over the world to enjoy the Greek weather, the blue sea, the marvellous Greek civilization and its Ancient Monuments.
The celebrations started with a welcome dinner under the beautiful and stunning view of the Acropolis Temple. All guests enjoyed their champagne under the Acropolis with live jazz music. Next day found our guests celebrating the Mehndi Lunch under a Greek street party concept where the Greek and Indian civilizations were merged leaving all guests unforgettable memories. Ladies had their Henna tattoos and Sari Tiers as per the Indian tradition while men enjoyed plenty of Greek coffee and food. A nice tour by the Acropolis Temple and Acropolis Museum was organized for those who wanted to explore the Greek history during their free time between the back to back celebrations. At the same night, they all partied until sunrise by the sea for the Sangeet party. Live Indian music and Zorba the Greek Syrtaki kept the married couple and their guests dancing and celebrating all night. The wedding day began with the Baraat ceremony where the groom travelled to the wedding venue on a lovely decorated chariot with two white horses. The hart and high street of Athens was dancing with the music of the drums and DJs live performances escorting the groom and his family. Men of the two families met for the Milni ceremony where the two families came together. The whole celebration came to an end, where the newly married couple S&A hosted a glamorous dinner at Zappeion Megaron. The unique lighting production and decoration gave an ambient to the venue that all guests will never forget.
